Horseshoe Point is highly praised for its clean and well-maintained campsites, friendly staff, and beautiful lake views, making it a favorite destination for many campers. Visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere, ample activities, and helpful campground hosts. While some minor improvements are suggested, particularly regarding bathroom facilities and safety features, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many returning year after year.

I absolutely looove it here. Not only is it peaceful, quiet and welcoming the camp sites are spaced nicely apart so that your not ontop of each other. The bath houses are always clean and inviting. Yet my most favorite part is the park attendants on duty were amazing. They not only smile as they do their job they genuinely care about the guest. I felt very safe and had the best time I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend this park to everyone . The beach is never too crowded and not to mention there are two beaches . As well as your pet is just as welcome as you are . 5 stars all the way.

The campsite we had was great! Price for wood was very good too...Bathrooms were nice with warm showers, the only thing we missed was some type of dishwashing station/sinks outside the bathroom or something...I had to use the regular sink inside the bathroom where was only cold water and the faucet was motion operated...but overall we loved it there, will be back

It was a little annoying not having anyone manning the booth when we checked in. Only later to have a park attendant bother us at the campsite to issue our tags. I didn't appreciate being interrupted for that. But the grounds were clean, and the facitities well maintained, and everything worked. I did appreciate all that. I would love to come back again.

What a lovely campground! We are tent campers and this adventure was with Grandmamá, Papa, and two of the younger grandkids (8 and 10). We camped at site #3, one of the beautiful lake-view sites with power and water. Even though the sites are a little close together in this area, and somewhat small, this one stretched out into the woods a bit and offered a beautiful view and birdsong every morning. The sites are well-maintained, and the bathhouses are kept very clean. We experienced very hard rainfall on two days, but the site was flat and well-drained and we stayed dry and comfortable. We were surprised how chilly the nights were, dropping into the 60's in July, a welcome change from the sweltering heat of the summer. This campground offers an "honor system" firewood supply, which we always appreciate and it was kept full throughout our visit. The dump station offered a bit of a challenge to make the turn to get into it, but we were happy to have this available. We have no complaints at all, but wish that some of the lower lake-side sites were equipped with power and water, too. There are some excellent sites, although it might be tricky getting a larger RV into the sites and navigating the narrow roads.

Horseshoe point will on my list of favorite campgrounds. Bathrooms clean, lots are a little small for a 25 foot camper, love to go back!
