This site was a great size! Plenty of space for tents and activities. And the site is close enough to the bathrooms. The only down side about this site is the fire ring location. The ground around the ring isn’t very level, making it difficult for multiple people to sit around the fire.

Love driving our 22 ft RV to hiking spots , having lunch on parkway after a long hike. Big Meadows is great ! The lodge is nice to go out. Even have Starbucks for morning coffee.

Absolutely amazing. every time we camp there its a great experience.
Bathrooms have hot water! people seem to be respectful especially towards quiet hours.
Many hiking trails that link up to the AT.

We had a great time at Big Meadows campground. I felt $5.00 to take a shower was a bit steep. We are a family of 4 So that was $20 per day.

Well maintained campground. Clear view of the sky at the edge of meadow. Nice to be away from parking area. Still awakened by trash truck. Fire pit below ground. Ditch present between picnic table and tent site which is a fall hazard.

We enjoyed a site farther back from the road that required a bit more walking but was totally worth it to be away from RV noise and close to the meadow. Lots of deer browsing around the area. Site was spacious and had a good flat area for the tent. Despite the shutdown, bathroom was cleaned and stocked and the check in was smooth.

Nice campground no hookups parking a little close for us but it worked.
Bath house was clean, pay showers were a little odd so bring lots of quarters.
Deer walk right up to you no fear, lots of warning about Bear but we did not see any
