Stayed only 1 night on a Monday. Registration was efficient and attendants were helpful. Campsites and restrooms were fairly clean. Generators in our camp area were not allowed; was happy about that. There were a lot of people camping. Except for an occasional dog barking, the campground was quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Sites are a little close together, but not a huge problem. Water is available (not all spigots worked though). There are generator hours and a dump station. Unusually, they never put a camping pass on our windshield. Hosts Russ and Leslie were very nice. We were encouraged to burn whatever firewood we could find! This is the first time we've experienced this in a National Park. The firewood for sale there is very expensive! We left the park a couple of times and went into Luray and we found it odd that we didn't see any firewood for sale on the way to and from. We spent a whole day just driving from one end of the park to the other! It is a wonderful National Park and the locals use it a lot

The camp sites are super close together and very small. We could hear our neighbors talking and playing music all night. Only a few of the sites had a bear safe box- ours did not. We were right next to the path to the bathroom- people were walking right next to our tent all night but we had no other space on our site to put the tent. The rangers were extremely friendly and helpful, though.

Superbe parc et camping. Des randos partent directement du campement. Tranquille, propre et dans la nature.

The campsite was beautiful. It would’ve been nice to have a few more bathrooms because they were very crowded and somewhat dirty. Campsite was clean and loved that they had firewood available for a small fee. The Rangers were extremely extremely helpful and did a great job. Our camp post Was very gracious and helped us out a lot with places to go and things to see. Trails were nice.
