Remote and beautiful location. Be sure to check weather predictions ahead of your stay, no cellular connection in a flash flood vulnerable area.

The good - the site and grounds were very well kept. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had HOT water, which was amazing. The location was beautiful, the lake was lovely and the campsite was surrounded with trees and the stream was right nearby so my kids had a lot to see and do.
The bad - do not have a big tent, it won't fit. We are a family of 8 with a large tent and the site we had booked was too small. Thankfully we were there when it wasn't busy and we were able to drive around till we found a site that would fit us. We then had to cancel our original booking, lose out on the fees, and then rebook, so that wasn't so nice. The tent barely fit, but we made it work. The only other issue was that all of the sites are covered in rock, our tent stakes were being bent out of shape trying to get them into the ground, and thankfully we had planned ahead and brought softer things to sleep on because it was hard under the tent.

Camp sites were great. Be certain to book online before you go. You must book online and they do not have wifi. Had to travel about 5 miles to pick up wifi to be able to secure a reservation.

I stayed here because it is so near Natural bridge. I was glad to find a nearby convenience store and local firewood.

Loved this gem that we found! Very quiet and free hot showers were an added bonus. Not a lot of folks and the location is perfect. Wish we had brought out swimsuits for the small lake and had a robust hike on Wildcat trail. First time camping since I was a kid and so glad I spent it here with my son on his first camping trip. Avoid the crowds and stay here - or don’t stay so there are less crowds for me.

Clean and beautiful camp site with bathrooms nearby. Good hiking trails and fun lake for fishing and swimming. Remote enough it feels like a get away, close enough to a small town in case anything is forgotten. Will be back
