We spent 2 nights there, we got rained out for the third. The campsite is wayyyyyy down in a valley, and many of the campsites are on a beautiful stream, which you can wade and fish in. It's very secluded, and much cooler because it's sheltered by the mountains and trees, and the stream helps to keep it cooler. There is a road that goes along the mountain across the stream, but you really can't see it. You will hear occasional vehicles on this road. The sites are spaced apart nicely so you're not right on top of each other. The bath houses are what you'd expect in a campsite. Admittedly, these could have been cleaner, and the water wasn't very hot, but it's better than boondocking. There is NO internet service at this campsite, and not for about 15-20 miles beyond it from the main road. We had to travel to the next town to find a little cell service. Your spouse, significant other, or kids will NOT be sitting there with their faces stuck in their cell phones - which is a great thing. There are short and easy hikes right off of the campsite too. All in all - we loved it, and will most like return.

Shady sites and lovely creek that runs along many of the sites with the sounds to lull you to sleep. Site 19 was a little trek to the toilets. Drinking water nearby.

Nice quiet location with well spaced camping sites. We camped in a site towards the back end of the loop and it was beautifully nestled into the woods. Lower number sites are a little more open to grassy fields. We were there on a weeknight after Labor Day so we were 1 of 3-4 total sites occupied. Hosts were nice and introduced themselves when we arrived. Will come back again.

    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
