Wonderful campground. Well kept. Sparkling bathrooms. Loud, rushing creek helps everyone feel they have lots of privacy. Excellent hiking. Great hosts in Phil and Carol. Can’t wait to return! The dog loved it too.

I spent two nights in site 2 , right on tbe creek. Large site, plenty of privacy but close to the bathhouse which was clean. The shower was hot enough for me.
The hike to Comers Falls right from tbe campground was a nice 3 mile round trip.
The only downside to site 2 is it stayed wet after raining on the first evening i was there since not much sun gets through the trees.
This was my first time in the areas and I hope to get back with my girlfriend this fall.

This is a cozy tucked away campground for tents and small trailers only (our teardrop made it down the narrow 3-mile entrance road). A cheerful creek runs along behind some of the campsites. Other campsites are nestled in the woods. There are no hookups, but clean shower facilities. The campground hosts are very sweet and helpful. There are a few nice hikes from the campground, one linking to the AT. It is about a half hour drive to Grayson Highlands and Mount Rogers areas. There is no firewood available for sale so you have to pick some up in one of the towns nearby, but there is usually enough kindling around.

This campgrounds was amazing. Everyone was friends guests and hosts included. The area was perfect to disconnect and unwind for the weekend. The nearby stream was extremely relaxing to listen to day and night. Saw a few deer, lots of butterflies and even a couple of trout in the stream. The hike was perfect for our dogs as well. We will be back.

The sites are large and spacious. The water is great and the scenery is just beautiful. The vault toilets were clean and well cared for. Our camp hosts were so kind and helpful and checked often to make sure we were OK. We will definitely be coming back.

I had never camped in my tent on a gravel pad and was nervous about it, but now it would be my preference because it is so well drained and not muddy! Site 12 was right next to the creek and was separated from adjoining sites by trees. Shower house and pit latrine were very clean.
