What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for relaxation and outdoor activities, particularly near the river. Many reviews highlight the park's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere, with some recommending it for RV camping due to limited water hookups. While there are some concerns about understaffing and the need for restroom upgrades, overall, visitors express a strong desire to return and enjoy the park's scenic views and community feel.

The staff were very friendly and the park and rest rooms were very clean. I will stay there again if possible next summer.

Beautiful park. Plenty of space between the pads. Riverfront view from almost every site. I'm concerned about the amount of gearhead, aka puncture vines that have been allowed to take control in some open areas. Pets, bicycles and barefoot children are extremely susceptible to these botanical daggers.

I have been there twice. The first time we stayed a week in a dry camp spot, The second time we stayed in a full service spot.
Nice quiet place, Good scenery. The grounds are very well kept and the staff are friendly.
We took the grandkids the second time. They all want to go back.
Fore me there were lots of fishing spots and places to kayak.

I love Charbonneau Pk. The sites are big, the park is well maintained and there are lots of activities for everyone to do. It is well maintained and the park host are very helpful and friendly. Not to mention the view is beautiful as well as peaceful.

We only spent one night at the park. The back-in site we had was actually easy to back in. One problem we had when we got to the park we didn’t know which road to take to the campground. Better signage is needed.
