What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for relaxation and outdoor activities, particularly near the river. Many reviews highlight the park's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere, with some recommending it for RV camping due to limited water hookups. While there are some concerns about understaffing and the need for restroom upgrades, overall, visitors express a strong desire to return and enjoy the park's scenic views and community feel.

Nice park. Shady sites. Convenient to marina. Not having a full hookup was a hassle.

Park in great shape. Staff very helpful. Seems to us like there are too many spots (some of the best full-hookup sites) dedicated to "volunteers". Didn't see the volunteers doing much.

Excellent park. Great hosts. Well kept. Kudos to the grounds and park staff. Only thing that could have been better was if you had enabled me to “catch” something rather than just “fish”. 🤪🤪. Thanks for a great experience.

Very nice park, camp hosts are friendly and it's clean. There are spiders and tack weed is thick in areas but otherwise I will continue to stay at this park.

Love the campground but wish it would stay open later in the fall. The weather in this area stays nice well into the late fall and this campground should be open thru the end of October.
