What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for relaxation and outdoor activities, particularly near the river. Many reviews highlight the park's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere, with some recommending it for RV camping due to limited water hookups. While there are some concerns about understaffing and the need for restroom upgrades, overall, visitors express a strong desire to return and enjoy the park's scenic views and community feel.

Unacceptable to have the garbage cans moved out of the camping area. With a motorhome and not being able to walk that far, itβs a great inconvenience. Have a pickup service if you want them that far away.

A large group of us have been going to Charbonneau over 30 years and love it. We just got back a week ago. With the current drought situation the campsites were not as green as they usually are but that is to be expected. Only 12 in our group this year and unfortunately we had boat trouble so not much skiing but the guys went golfing 2 days and we had a nice day trip to Walla Walla. Lots a wineries to check out close by too.

The campsite check-in guy was so friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well kept. I was impressed with the watering system and the green grass. Beautiful place. I hope to return. Thanks!

Another great COE campground to visit. For us this one is unique, it offers FHUs with 50/30 amp service. Had some power issues but Hosts were quick to get us to another side. Just about every site on the outside loop has a great view of the Snake River. Our site was 44 and the view was great. The only negative is the massive infestation of spiders. For someone with arachnophobia this CAN be an issue. I would typically kill about 30/40 every morning on our motor home. We even took some spider hitchhikers with us when we left. I'm surprised COE Horn Park is only 11 miles away on the Snake River, but appears to be more popular then here. This park has FHUs and a marina too.
