Camp hosts were very professional at check in and clearly explained the parking situation and the fire ban. Very helpful with any questions we had and suppled fun stuff for the young ones with us. Peaceful and beautiful spot.

Lighting for Women's restroom entrance was out. Camphosts said they couldn't fix it. They had put in a repair order 2 weeks prior. It's not just a light It's a safety issue, not just good people camp. The camp host's are intrusive. I wouldn't recommend this campground

As always, the park and campground are well kept and clean. It was a great, quiet overnight for our travels to Tri cities. Have always loved Hood Park!

As we drove into the campground looking for our daughters spot, we were approached by the camp host. The lady host was very rude. We asked a question about leaving a small tent trailer, on our daughters driveway while she was gone and until we could check into our spot. She immediately jumped all over us about rules. Our daughter had been told by the other host the night before it would be ok. The host we talked to said she was on duty and it was her rules! She finally left and said she couldn't talk to us. She pretty much implied we couldn't drive through the park and for sure we couldn't check in. Which we had not planned on doing. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what, but not impressed with her customer service or even her general attitude. Otherwise, our stay was nice.

Very nice park. Well maintained. Great play toy in the middle of the field for the kids. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The worst part was the tiny leaches in the shore waters & swim area. Could only swim in the deep water off the boat.

The only complaint I have about my experience at Hood park is that the grass where our site was needed watered badly. It was dry and dusty causing all the kids to cough. Other then that the experience was great!

Nice overnight stay, good location. Would be a good place if you had a boat.

What a lovely park. It is situated on the Snake River right before it joins the Columbia. It was peaceful and lovely. Our site was right on the water. As the sun went down and the lights came on at the tank farm across the river, I took beautiful photos. We highly recommend this park!
