Nice and quite park. Easy access to electric at the individual sites, and water and garbage bins within easy reach every few sites.
Biggest complaint, the womens shower and restrooms. The cleaning is only being done at the barest level. Shower walls haves shampoo etc caked on as thick as wax in some areas. Dirt/ mud is built up around the base of walls in the shower stalls. Basic repairs have not been done in the restrooms, since we stayed here a year ago. There is black mold growing around the screws and in the seems in the shower stalls. 2 out 3 of the lights do not work in the sink area the door locks are broken off the showers, and the only soap dispenser is 1 brown "painted" repurposed shampoo bottle, by the 3 hand sinks. Yes, its a high traffic area, but most of this is long term neglec, not daily use problems.

We have been camping at Hood Park for years. It's just far enough to get away and close enough if we forgot something. We love this park! The tall trees are beautiful and you have the river for swimming, boating, or fishing. We have met some amazing people throughout the years and have even become friends with some.

This was a nice pull through site with 50 Amp service, which was necessary given the 100 degree day when we were there.

This year, the campground hosts were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They made our large group feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Thanks to their hospitality, everyone had a great time, and our camping experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

Getting There
From Pasco, Washington, take Highway 12 east. After crossing the Snake River Bridge, take the next exit and continue to State Route 124. The park entrance is on the left just after the roundabout.

- All campers must STOP and check-in at gate house before proceeding into the campground

- PETS must be RESTRAINED on a 6 ft leash at ALL TIMES
- Campfires allowed UNLESS A FIRE BAN is in effect

- When hanging hammocks on trees must use 3 inch flat strap (webbing)
- NO DOG RUNS
- An adult must be present at campsite for group members 17 and under
