Great park right on the river. Beautiful grounds and nice bath house. Perfect place to stay if you don't need full hook-ups.

The park was nice but the campground had no privacy. Campsites were fairly close with no vegetation between sites. It was also very buggy so bring personal repellent.
The rest rooms were clean and the showers were large enough and warm.

Staff were great. I had an issue with my cell phone provider and the staff went above and beyond to help me get it resolved which saved my entire trip. They also were very accommodating on moving me from my original spot that had a large dead tree that hung over the site.

Great park on the Snake River. We appreciated to ease of access, location, scenery. The host (Bob?) was super accommodating and gave us a rubber duck for our jeep! Soon after we plugged in and turned on our AC, a fuse was blown and several campsites lost power. He immediately worked on restoring the power and communicated with us what was happening.
The only negatives had nothing to do with the CG: Propane noise guns used to scare birds from crops, trains and traffic on nearby bridge were a bit annoying, but not enough to not return in the future.

Fortunately there was an attendant with a key to the electrical lock box for the power we needed. For a few minutes at the beginning, we were concerned when we discovered no power in the shelter.
All else was great and our event enjoyed the space.

The campsite was clean, beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, a few campers left trash around the campground. I wish everyone would be more considerate and help keep our campgrounds and natural areas clean for future visitors.

This is a very scenic park overall. The sites were very large, with plenty of trees for shade. The river access is great.

We were very surprised with the park. I was almost spotless and well taken care of. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again when in the area. The host was very helpful and i truly understand why they don't want you to check in before 2pm. We watched the maintenance personal get right on the watering of the open site as soon as they became open. Beautiful site and right on the river. Next time we're planning to stay longer.

We have stayed at Hood Park numerous times for a night or two as we are passing through the area.

From Pasco, Washington, take Highway 12 east. After crossing the Snake River Bridge, take the next exit and continue to State Route 124. The park entrance is on the left just after the roundabout.

- Park gate closed and quiet hours from;
- All campers must STOP and check-in at gate house before proceeding into the campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- PETS must be RESTRAINED on a 6 ft leash at ALL TIMES
- Campfires allowed UNLESS A FIRE BAN is in effect
- ALL WHEELS on PAVEMENT
- When hanging hammocks on trees must use 3 inch flat strap (webbing)
