Hood Park is beautiful and well maintained. The Camp Hosts are very attentive to the park and guests. The public restrooms and showers were clean.
The camp sites had electricity hooks ups. It would be nice if the sites had water hooks up also. For a short stay our fresh water tank in our travel trailer sufficed, however if it was a longer stay, it would have been necessary to refill the tank.

Nice camp ground, clean bathrooms, a lot of mosquitoes though.

This is one of the prettiest parks I've seen. Right on the river with lush green grass a beautiful trees. Clean bathroom and showers. Quiet. Spaces are large and open. Only problem is no privacy as all is wide open.

We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Well cared for grounds with lots of shade, and clean bathrooms. It's a short destination from home, but the atmosphere feels like we are hundreds of miles away.

This park needs some attention. The park opened with the grass appearing as though very little or no water had been put on it and needed a mowing. The grass was so long in our camp site that there were ticks. No excuse for this park to be in such bad shape. We are paying customers that come here every year.

Stayed in site 33. 33ft 5th wheel.
Nice site. It does back up to a cow pasture. Only a couple of cows and down the way a little were horses. Wasn’t too bad but if the wind blew just right, it was a little farm smelling. We all got bit by some kind of little bug that was in the grass. We are thinking they are chiggers but we didn’t see them only ended up with very itchy bite spots. Did not like having the gate locked at 10 pm. Not sure what the purpose of that is but we are not a fan of that. When leaving the site, it was pretty tight with the dumpster right there.

The park was well taken care of. The check in process was fast. There is a good amount of separation between sites. The bathrooms were very clean.

We felt lucky to snag a site that accommodated our rig on short notice, and were surprised to see the park almost empty the entire time that we were there. Maybe others were cancelling (air quality from distant fires was not great)? I wonder if the geese are seasonal visitors and just happened to be there at the same time we were? There were a lot of them and as a result - a lot of goose poop! We were close to the day use area, which provided a beautiful view of the lake, bridge and beyond. Our stay was Sunday through Wednesday, so it was very quiet (in the campground as well as the day use area). Looking forward to returning to this park.
