Apparently, there’s a shooting range nearby that allows shooting late into the night. Annoying but not a complete dealbreaker for an otherwise very nice COE campground.
Our site, #46, was lovely with a huge lawn area and nicely spaced from adjacent sites.
Showers could use a sprucing-up but the water was hot and the drains worked so the basics were covered.
We’d definitely stay here again.

The campground was nice but there is a problem with trash in and around it. They mentioned a missed pickup but it was also litter on the beach, day use area and boat ramp like it's not being kept up with.

I think its ridiculous that the best spots in the park are reserved for the park rangers or workers. Also the park workers weren't nice at all. No alcohol is really lame too.

A very nice well kept park. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. It was a very quiet campground with a nice view of the river and wildlife.

This park has gone downhill. Our unit had no lawn. Apparently, it hasn't had water for a year or two. Upon our arrival we found dry dirt all around our site. The fire pit was full of debris and the parking pad looked like it hadn't been cleaned off all winter. Our picnic table hadn't been washed off. I had a couple of rags I used to clean off what looked like mold off the table and benches. In my opinion, this site shouldn't be rented out until the irrigation and grass are replaced. Please, DONT RENT SPACE #68. The rest of park had been mowed, the lawn looked dry, but nothing like #68. I also noticed the trees need attention. Dead branches, limbs,etc. in the park. It's just not getting the care that it used to receive. Please don't let this park go, it's one of our favorites.

- Park gate closed and quiet hours from;
- All campers must STOP and check-in at gate house before proceeding into the campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- PETS must be RESTRAINED on a 6 ft leash at ALL TIMES
- Campfires allowed UNLESS A FIRE BAN is in effect
- ALL WHEELS on PAVEMENT
- When hanging hammocks on trees must use 3 inch flat strap (webbing)
- NO DOG RUNS
- An adult must be present at campsite for group members 17 and under
