spot was great #17 great view of the water. spiders were really bad and really big. brought a bunch of them home. other than that, it was a nice weekend they also show a movie on Saturday night. more than likely won't be back just because of the spiders.

Well the park people manually turned the sprinklers on at 2am on our tents… and they weren’t there in the morning to talk to.

This was a beautiful, quiet location. The group shelter was close to a play area, boat launch and beach! Easy reservation, perfect spot!

The first sign in for the booking was tricky but worth it to stay in this peaceful, clean park.

It was a great place, shade. The host was a really nice guy. We went to the Ice Harbor Dam & Lock just up the road and got a tour, check website for days and times. It was interesting/the visitor center is open every day I think. We have a 24’ 5th wheel and had no problem backing in to the spots. It’s clean and well maintained.

Love this campground with lots of green grass and large camp sites and close to the beach.

This was a beautiful campground! Check-in was kind and friendly, our camp spot was paved and level, also very clean. The fire pit was clean as well as the aluminum picnic table. The camp host did regular rounds to check on things. It was very family friendly with a beach and playground, bathrooms and showers. It was wonderful to watch the sun set on the water right from our camp. Great place!

This place was gross, surrounded by factories.

We stayed at Hood Park from July 19-July 22, 2023. Our site was level and had a good view of the river. The park and bathrooms were clean except for the abundance of spiders in the trees and bushes. The spiders were there because of all the little flying bugs. We sprayed our area with yard bug spray, even turning our picnic table over to get all the little buggers.
On Friday morning, Mom and her friend came to see the park and visit. Mom had just finished her first chemo treatment a couple of days before and wasn't going to stay long. Not knowing the rules, they parked in the grass next to our site. A volunteer came and told us to MOVE THE CAR IMMEDIATELY. They moved the car to a site in front of ours. Since it was around 11 AM and check in time is 2 PM, we didn't think it would be a problem. Not knowing the rules again, they pulled the car "head in" instead of backing in. The volunteer came back very angry and told us "There is no head in parking. This is your second strike and you aren't going to get another one!" Mom and her friend didn't want to cause any more trouble so they left.
My husband and I are both over 60 and were surprised at the angry attitude of the volunteer. We thought the volunteer could have been a little more diplomatic since he is representing Hood Park.
