Lovely campground surrounded by beautiful trees - enjoyed relaxing by the glacial creek on a hot day with the family. Very peaceful. Only feedback I have is - Site 004 (the one we stayed in) was pretty close to the road, loud vehicles created noise pollution waking me a couple times that night, interrupted the nature sounds. Also the bathrooms really need attention, neither of the doors could be closed - appeared broken. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Camped at Moss Creek Campground with the intention of canoeing on Disappearing Lake at South Prairie. This is the closest campground at 13 Mi away. It is hard to beat a visit to mother nature and Moss Creek area was beautiful. Don't know why it is called Moss Creek as it is on the Little White Salmon River. A close trail head is Little Huckleberry Mountain Trail trailhttps://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/washington/little-huckleberry-trail
We reserved Site #6 which turned out to be not shaded so tent got pretty hot during the day (Late June), most other sites are shaded. Of the four vault toilets one was closed completely (no Repairs scheduled) the Accessible restroom had the doors rotting and falling off, the third had no TP in it, the fourth was maintained and of course right next to the Camp Host. Camp Host was nice and pleasant once we met him, but I think he was working on a research project or something, so we didn't see him but once or twice. Water was available but not all spigots worked.
Camp was easy to find and access, no biting bugs or mosquitos, plenty of birds.
Good visit overall

Pretty spot. No water available and no alert listed to be able to plan for lack of water. Camp sites close to road are noisy with fast traffic.
