Spacious and quiet. I stayed here midweek but it was almost fully reserved. Despite it being full I didn’t hear a peep from any other campers, it was really quiet and relaxing. The creek was clear and beautiful, and I had it to myself. It was nice that we could still have a fire in the campground while there was a burn ban for the public in the county. The camp host came around a few times and checked on the bathrooms, they seemed friendly and on top of things.

Beautiful campground! Our site (010) was great but it's pretty close to the pit toilets so every now and then you'd be able to smell them. We would definitely come here again but probably pick a site a bit further from the bathrooms. The water available in the campground comes from hand pumps which my kids loved to "help" with. I would not recommend drinking it, however. The pumps are quite old and the water has a strong rusty flavor and looks discolored which is unpleasant.

Overall the experience was good. But when we first arrived, our site #11 was too short even though we had only a 16 ft trailer and a 16 ft car. Plus our site was the only site w/o a table. We finally caught up with the host and were able to move across the road to another site that was longer and had a table.
Also the water hydrants, although quaint, are rather challenging for one person to operate depending on the type of container you are trying to fill and do not meet national accessibility standards.
But it is a nice campground. Toilet facilities were kept nice and clean. And there was ample spacing between campsites.

We could not use a picnic table. We were so disappointed.
