Beautiful campsite, some privacy. Vault toilets are what you'd expect. Many little trails around camp leading to creek spots. Lava butte trail was fun to explore. The water in paradise creek was cold but fun to hang out at. Very close to the falls creek falls hike

The creek was low during the time of year we went but still very beautiful! The campgrounds and bathrooms were well maintained.

We absolutely love this campground with it’s large camp sites that are generously spaced. Our only item we might wish for is closer access to fresh water.

Great launching point for exploring the Lewis River! And PERFECT place to be when Portland had 100-degree days forecasted: It was cool and lovely in the forest. Plus, nice creeks for toddlers to toddle in.
Our site (5) was quite close to the highway, and had a lot of loud logging traffic seemingly all night long (weeknights). I'd recommend snagging a site farthest away from the highway.
