What Guests Are Saying
Fort Spokane is praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts, making it a great spot for family camping and outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the quiet atmosphere and easy access to amenities such as water and boat ramps. However, some concerns were raised about noise from partying campers, availability of toilet paper, and the need for more law enforcement presence. Overall, the campground offers a pleasant experience, especially for those looking for a peaceful getaway.

Access to the water is limited from camping area. Swimming area is across the highway and has very little shade. Some campsites are shady part of the day. Launching kayaks is a challenge because the huge boat launch parking is for trailers with only a few far away spots if you don't have a trailer.

After I made a reservation and was set up in my designated camping spot, I was asked by a ranger to move to a different campsite because there was a mix up on reservations and our site was actually reserved by someone else. Thankfully there was another site available to move to. Then, a group moved in the large campsite area across from our campsite and proceeded to be unruly, disobey wheels on roadway signs, and no ranger or camp host ever came through to attempt to create a pleasant experience for the other 20 campsites in our area.
