The campground is well laid-out with easy access to drinking water, bathrooms and garbage cans. The boat ramp and docks are in great shape with lots of parking spaces. Our only negative was the large number of people using gas generators.

Pretty standard fall camping trip. Vault toilet was locked! We didn’t expect that. We knew the toilet wouldn’t be running but the pit toilets are usually open. I guess be prepared for that.

We stayed after the busy season, and so had almost complete privacy. Loved it. It's all boondocking so come prepared to either go without electricity or create your own. Our site was mostly sunny so we did a little of both over the week we were there. Big fires were pushing smoke into the area so had to supplement with generator.
Lots of bird watching from our site. Eagles in the morning. Flickers and juncos all day. Dozens of others that may have been migrating through.
Not a lot for hiking. We did day trips around the area.
Potable water at the dump station. there is a fee even for campers to use the dump station. You can pay online while there. We enjoyed it, but some will find it too remote and rough. There are other choices with hook ups so do those if that's you.

Clean, quiet and close to the water. We spent 2 nights listening to the coyotes along the ravines. Saw an eagle and osprey! On our last morning there were 4 dear in camp. Just beautiful. The camp site we chose had morning sun and afternoon shade. Potable water nearby. Really was a great spot for tent camping!
