Haag Cove Campground

I can tell the rangers (or whoever takes care of the site) did a great job so they get 5 stars. What brought everything down for us was the proximity to the toilet and the light breeze blowing a horrible smell directly into our camp. We would have loved to stay longer but that was gnarly so we couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Nice time till the last night. Large group, two sites. The were up till 3am, yelling and loud music.

Many sites are in full sun; very little shade coverage. Private houses also overlook the campground. It's a little odd to be sitting around the fire and the houses surrounding you can see everything you're doing in your site and what you're eating for dinner. Water access was EXTREMELY far away. That being said, the dry water bed was fun to explore, though any artifacts found cannot be kept. Standard vault toilets were adequate. However, once was enough and will not be staying here again.

Great little place but there are a lot of mosquitoes. Excellent for paddle boarding!

My favorite campground. I would recommend a light being put in the restroom. If there was a way to put the water pump back in that would be awesome!

We’ve been camping at Haag Cove for more than 50 years. and have never seen the campground as untaken care of as we have seen this year. It is more than a fire hazard to have 3 inches of Pineneedles and pinecones everywhere in the campsite but weeds and grass growing more than 3 ft high. We paid the same $25 as you would at Fort Spokane that is extremely manicured. If this is what my tax dollars is being mismanaged for I think we should be able to pay a much lower price to camp at this campsite.
