About Kettle Falls Campground

Kettle Falls Campground is on the northern section of Lake Roosevelt and convenient to the town of Kettle Falls. The facility has a multi-lane boat launch, making it popular among boaters, fishermen and water sports enthusiasts. The Kettle Falls area is rich in the history of American Indians as well as the fur trade; campers can learn more at a park visitor center less than 10 miles away. Lake Roosevelt is a 130-mile lake on the Columbia River created by the Grand Coulee Dam. Named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt, it is part of the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and managed by the National Park Service.

Really like the layout of the park. Nice little beach down at the boat launch if you dont want to brave the rocks below the campground.
Mosquitos were a bit hungry ;). But bearable.
Bathrooms could have used some attention but were always stocked.
I’d stay here again.

We really enjoy this site - close to fishing, swimming, town, groceries and restaurants. The sites are nice sized, but the bathrooms could be cleaner!

Our weekend’s camping trip was exactly what we needed. We had an absolutely beautiful spot right by the water, surrounded by amazing views and great company. It was the perfect place to relax, make memories, and unplug for a little while.

The one and only downfall and I know it’s just part of camping was the mosquitoes. 🥴 They were on another level! Apparently they’re immune to bug spray, citronella candles, and every trick we tried. We definitely left with a few extra souvenirs in the form of bug bites. 😂

Even with the mosquitoes trying to carry us away, it was an incredible trip, and I’d do it all over again for those views and memories.

Mosquito's were so bad, we had to leave a day early....My husbands legs were covered in bites, just from setting up and leveling our travel trailer. We were pretty much confined to our trailer. Very few people at the campground.

Stopped here overnight on our way to the North Cascades scenic highway. The host was so helpful and we found it easy to enjoy the beauty of the place.

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
