The camp host was a joke. We left a day and half early because of the way the camp host treated our group.

The site number 039, Loop 2 was short. It seems the back of the site had been filled in with dirt/sand forcing us to step out into the dirt when parked with our rear door trailer. There was no tag on our campsite even though we reserved a week+ in advance. We wound up filling out our own site card when the host/ranger gave it to us. Again the site was short and not as advertised. Hand cleaner was empty in the pit toilet throughout our stay of four nights.

I love going to campgrounds during the shoulder seasons. Minimal people. Minimal noise. The park offers so much! I enjoy cycling and walking. This is one of the best campgrounds to do that at.

There is no water during early season, so be prepared for using the outhouse if you don't have your own bathroom. Other than that the campground is great.

Really great place to stay! We were there in the off season, so the water was shut off in the park. They have put toilets to use though! The one in our camp ground loop was VERY full and quite stinky. But other than that it was an amazing stay! Great views of the river, tons of wildlife, and so many eagles! Definitely will be coming back!

Always a stellar experience here. My only complaint would be the lack of a garbage can in the winter months. I do a lot of my camping in winter. I do not enjoy going to a paid camp site and taking my trash home with me.
But no real complaints! :) What an amzaing site!
