Great camping in a ponderosa grove right on the water.

Site #3; direct wind from the vault toilet. No afternoon shade. Locals using the campground and beach area as a "day-use" site. This made our stay difficult to enjoy; even leaving the campground was difficult since the day-use vehicles were blocking the roadway.

Beautiful peaceful campground. A little bit of road noise from the highway across the river but not excessive. Vault toilet was clean. We were there pretty much alone for 2 nights. Will be back! Good T-Mobile service.
Make sure you stop at the wood guy on your way in! He’s on the right side of the freeway on your way there and has great dry wood for very good pricing!

Overall visit was good. The area was clean and spaced out. The only issue I had was across the water a house had a very bright flashing light was was going all night.

We really enjoy our stay. It was a late night upon arrival, so it was dark. We were the only ones in the campground . There was so much fog in the morning but when it cleared it was a beautiful view.
