We were disappointed at the low water level. I guess it was too early in the year. My wife and I and a friend were the only campers in the campground.
On a positive note, the pit toilets were very clean.

It was nice and quiet with only one other site taken. Beautiful view and nice access to the river. Park ranger was by every morning to make a drive by. I also got a private show to the jets flying low in the valley. Sites were easy to access and decently level. Just all around lovely place to spend some time.

Sites were clean and campground was well cared for. River was quite low at this time (end of August) and very weedy in front of the camp but it was still a nice setting. I would however caution visitors to keep there equipment secure. While I was in town to get supplies, some lowlifes stole several items from my camp. A neighbor camper saw two people in my camp going though my stuff and we reported it to the Park Ranger. He said it was rare for this to happen there but it certainly did in my case. It's impractical to have to fully demobilize your camp whenever you want to step away and visit other sites in the area so just make sure nothing of value is left behind (as it was in my case fortunately). A sad reality in this day and age ...

People came in on Friday night and sang karaoke music full blast after we went to bed. We had to leave a day early. It sounded like we were in a bar.
