About Marcus Island Campground

Marcus Island Campground is tucked into the trees on the lake shore. The campground is heavily shaded and, in the summer, has shoreline on three sides. The main access road is single lane and winding, but campers flock to this shaded area in summer. A boat launch with parking is available before reaching the campground.

A very beautiful place to go camping. Amazing to look out the RV window and see the water, even in the middle of the night! Also all the stars. This was a bird lovers paradise, many different birds.

They're fairly well kept up but most sites are way too close together! If I could get one of the end spots I would rate it Very Good. Tents are almost touching with the other campsites... Invite a friend if you you are concerned...
