This one of our favorite campgrounds for fishing. It’s a clean campground with a courtesy boat dock. Cell phone service and clean bathrooms.

when we got to our Camp spot #15 there was an underground hornets nest that no one new about, my daughter, granddaughter and her dog all got stung multicable times. we had to move camp sites and that was not an easy task doing it on line with the camp host to the point of having to call the main reservation line and have an agent help and they couldnt help either do to a glitch in the system. they never did get the hornet issue resolved they covered it up with pine needles and put a picnic table over it. you would have thought that they would have put that site as unavailable not only on the website but a sign for folks not to park or sit there.

We asked to switch one campsite as we were a small group, next thing we know the camp host has called in two police officers, seriously 🙄, the campground was basically empty 😕
Other than that it's a great campground with clean washrooms 😁

My family camps here every year. It truly is a beautiful place. I really wish they would fix the dump station though. The water pressure is extremely low making it impossible to use your black tank flush and fill your fresh water tank. Been an issue for years. Other then that, wonderful.

Getting There
Take Washington state Highway 395 north from Spokane. Travel 70.3 mi to the town of Kettle Falls, take Highway 25 north and travel 11 mi. Follow signs to the campground. It is on the west side of the highway.

Evans Campground is accessible via Washington State Highway 395, which connects to Spokane, and Highway 25, which leads north to the campground.
Policies & Rules
General
- Reservation only campground. No first come available.
- Dump/Fill Station onetime fee of $10 for campers with a reservation or $5 with Senior/Access pass. This is intended for visitors recreating in established campgrounds within the boundaries of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and not for residential use. Pay online prior to use at pay.gov/public/form/start/1575878640
- Flush toilets are available and water faucets turned on May 1st to September 30, weather permitting.
- Lake level may affect the water supply.
- Pets are allowed and must be restrained at all times.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- No off-road parking; park in designated areas only.
- No metal detectors or collecting artifacts allowed.
- Bring confirmation with you. Transfer the confirmation information onto the green slips located at the Fee Board as you enter the campground. Hang filled out tag at your site.
- No generator usuage during our Quiet Hours.
- Fires are permitted in the fire rings year-round, EXCEPT when the fire danger rating reaches a critical level as indicated by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for the area that includes Lake Roosevelt NRA.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
- Weekly Boat Launch Permits must be purchased on line at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/656441199 . Please purchase prior to your trip. Annual Boat Launch Permits are available in person by vendor only.
