Great location and we enjoyed the boat launch, courtesy dock as well as the swimming area. However, the maintenance was very poor. Both our picnic table and our neighbors had multiple wasp nests on the bottom. We got stung several times. No wasp catcher strips were hung up as they usually are at other camp grounds on the river. The entire campsite had weeds knee high. You could not see if there were bugs, snakes etc. and you just felt like you were camping in a mess. I realize lack of sufficient employees is a problem everywhere right now. The rest rooms were cleaned regularly which was a plus.

So wonderful to get back to one our favorite spots on Lake Roosevelt! It is managed very well. Evans is a family campground used by quiet and well behaved, friendly, and respectful campers.

Camp host was exceptional and ran a great program. Restrooms were kept clean however towels were a shortage.
Weather was not good until the 5th but all are families and friends had a good experience.

Evans is lovely. Website shows the length of the sites; however these are not accurate. Site 31 advertised as 50’ site but we needed to park our truck offsite to accommodate our 34 trailer so we weren’t sticking into the roadway.

Take Washington state Highway 395 north from Spokane. Travel 70.3 miles to the town of Kettle Falls, take Highway 25 north and travel 11 miles. Follow signs to the campground. It is on the west side of the highway.
