What Guests Are Saying
Kachess campground offers a beautiful, scenic environment with spacious and private campsites, making it a popular choice for many visitors. Numerous reviews praise the cleanliness of the campground and the friendliness of the staff, along with access to hiking trails and the lake. However, some concerns were raised about sanitation issues in the vault toilets, low lake water levels, and a lack of enforcement of campfire bans, which detracted from the overall experience for some campers.

Good experience for first time camping. Campsite seemed small to fit 12 people, 8 people or 4 tents can fit in the site. Lake is good. Very few parking at lake picnic area so need to park vehicle as campsite. Restrooms were quite clean at campsite. Overall we enjoyed alot.

Absolutely will come back! Large campsite, easily fits 3 tents. Easy walk to the lake - Kachess lake is awesome for both kids and adults . Very friendly camp hosts, reminded us about the active bears. (We didn't see any bears during our stay). It would be perfect if there's shower.

It seemed overly crowded. The loud voices of the nearby campers was intrusive. The camp host was not visible --I never had an opportunity to meet or talk to them. The toilet paper in the bathroom ran out. It was difficult to judge from the online map how far our campsite was from the lake. It was a long walk with young children. The swimming area was very small and extremely crowded and parking was difficult.

Great campground, easy access to the lake, wonderful views.
Our side (93) was a pain to back in (20 foot trailer) because of two tree trunks cut off that did not let you go further, so our truck had to be parked on our friends site.
Be aware that the place is a mosquito paradise, we were eaten alive there.
If it wasn't for the mosquitos, I would definitely go back there.
You barely had signal from the Mineral loop, we put our weeboost up to help out.
