What Guests Are Saying
Kachess campground offers a beautiful, scenic environment with spacious and private campsites, making it a popular choice for many visitors. Numerous reviews praise the cleanliness of the campground and the friendliness of the staff, along with access to hiking trails and the lake. However, some concerns were raised about sanitation issues in the vault toilets, low lake water levels, and a lack of enforcement of campfire bans, which detracted from the overall experience for some campers.

Kachess is one of our favorite campgrounds. Beautiful location, we love playing on the lake!

Sites were great (other than lack of shade in 126), camp hosts were super friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth and they were also friendly and informative, especially with it being our first time here.

The campsites have good privacy and size. The lake is beautiful. The only complaint is the lack of showers. There are bathrooms with sinks and flush toilets, so showers seem like something that could be added.

Despite being a double lot, it was smaller than many other regular sized lots ive been in. Not many places to park a tent as well, and barely enough room for 3 cars, despite advertized as a 4 car lot.

Kachess is the most wonderful place to get away. Stay up late, break out that ol telescope and look at the stars!! Bring cash, cards are not accepted. This place is amazing and worth the drive from civilization. Our hosts, Ronny and Donna were so sweet and welcoming!

My son and I love this campground! Sites were clean and spacious, restrooms were clean, plenty of fresh water. Hosts were very helpful. We make this a yearly event for a reason :)

This campground is fantastic. It's easily accessible from I90, the hosts were great and super responsive to an issue I had with another site and their dog attacking mine.
PLEASE REMEMBER - the hosts are not there to clean up after you. While there wasn't much garbage around, it was certainly evident. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF PEOPLE.
