Our rating would be 5 star, except for the state of the restrooms during our first week and the ongoing condition of the unmoved tall grasses. The lack of timely mowing has lead to ticks and massive mosquito infestation. Altho it was not as terrible as it was last year, the fact remains that keeping areas where folks will be camping “naturally” leads to fire hazards, ticks, mosquitos and potential for illness. On the other hand, the campground has been our favorite for more than 30 years and the camp hosts this year are the very best we have ever met! Rod Huffman and Janis Ledum are so conscientious and consistent in their positions as camp hosts, keeping the grounds picked up, ensuring campers abide by the rules, all the while being friendly and approachable at all times. Rod has quite a knowledge of the surrounding area and is always enthused to share that knowledge. He brings back the wish that the rangers would continue the educational programs of old. With an improvement in bathroom cleaning routines and a better program of keeping the campground areas mowed, this would easily be a 5 star experience this season.

We did not stay as the internet site kept changing the date from 19th to the 18th. It said 18th was unavailable we made it for raw 19th. When we got to Evans it said 18th.

My family camps here every year. It truly is a beautiful place. I really wish they would fix the dump station though. The water pressure is extremely low making it impossible to use your black tank flush and fill your fresh water tank. Been an issue for years. Other then that, wonderful.

We asked to switch one campsite as we were a small group, next thing we know the camp host has called in two police officers, seriously 🙄, the campground was basically empty 😕
Other than that it's a great campground with clean washrooms 😁
