Awesome site in a great campground! We typically prefer to boondock, but without a lot of options in the area for that, we booked this campground. This site was pretty private, and we loved how the picnic table was set back under the moss-covered trees to create that ethereal feel. The parking site was level, the bathrooms were clean, and the drinking water was really good.
I would recommend this site to anyone who wants that rainforest feel! If you’d prefer to be in a brighter area, loop A seemed to be more open.

Our campsite was fine. Accessibility to the bathroom was convenient. The tent site was level, but this site was not very private. The path to the bathroom was right next to the site, so lots of people walk by.
The bathrooms were clean, the trash cans were never overflowing, and the drinking by water was great.
I would recommend this campground to anyone who can get a reservation. We stayed the 3 previous nights in 67 C, and we LOVED that site! Loop A seemed a bit less tree covered, so if you prefer to be in a brighter area, Loop A would be a good spot for you.

Arrived at 10am on a Saturday in August and it took us 90 minutes to get in. We camped at site 5 in Loop A. Bathroom was clean and close. Campsite got plenty of sun but also had good shade from a nearby tree. Privacy was so so, good side privacy but exposed to other sites front and back. Campsite does not experience road noise, however if you have noisy neighbors you will hear them. Hoh river trail is an amazing day hike but watch out for the wasps as we got stung 3 times in about 15 minutes. One downside was we felt trapped in the campground due to the long wait to get back in. Make sure you bring enough supplies for your trip.
One morning we woke up to deer and elk wandering through the camp ground for breakfast which was amazing.

Wait was long at entrance to get into the park. Campsites were close to our neighbors. Trails were crowded. Park was beautiful and well worth it.
