site 62 is really close to site 61. however, the site is further from the road so it added a little privacy. as long as your neighbors are quiet it’s not too bad. super close to hikes and the visitor center so we didn’t have to worry about parking. make sure to come before 10am or after 5pm since the park entrance can get backed up. also lots of bugs, we had to eat inside our tent since the bees wouldn’t leave us alone. site was spacious and had a fire ring and table despite it not showing in the photo.

We did not stay as the campsite was an open field with no coverage and it was a very hot day.

This is a beautiful campsite and campground. We had a very rude neighbor, but otherwise than that it would be 5 stars.

There were far, far, far too many people on the trails and in the campground to have any kind of decent time. Most of my time was spent waiting for other tourists to get out of my way, or figuring out where I'm at because none of the park rangers I talked to had a map. I counted three people smoking while I were on the trails, and there was another woman smoking inside of the campground. Considering all of the effort I had to go through in order to book this campground, it was highly not worth it.
