The campground itself was very nice. However, finding our spot was quite difficult. It was not well labeled when we entered the campground that we could find out site information in the B loop information board (why not all boards, or at the very least, the one at the entrance?). This was made harder because we didn’t have service to get our info from the website we booked on. And all the camp spaces simply said “reserved” without a name or a number. We ended up picking a random spot and of course took someone else’s spot and they were kind enough to show us how they figured it out, but it was not intuitive.

Great experience. I arrived late and was able to find my spot easily. Word of advice: in order to get to the campground it is the same entrance as the visitors center, so it will be PACKED during the regular hours of the day. This means super long lines in your car just trying to get in, so if you get stuck in a two hour line of people waiting for parking spots then you're stuck with them, can't get to your site until then. So if you can arrive very early or somewhat later in the day then it is best so you don't get stuck in the line. If you have a reservation then you do not need to check in or anything, just waltz in. Also, if you can reserve two dates in the same campsite it is best, that way you can leave your car in the campsite instead of having to risk it going to the visitor center parking lot which gets full QUICK. Overall great experience.

Nice campground other than the bathrooms.
They didn’t have soap or trash cans. This made washing up difficult.

This campsite was great. It was on the far edge of Loop A near the river which made it very tranquil and peaceful at night. It a little far away from the restrooms and water supply but the trade-off is well worth it. The site is level enough for the setup of 2-3 tents.
