best ever! A bit rainy and foggy, rain gear will be helpful. We saw deer, and the Ranger told us people once saw Elk on the campsite. I really love the rainforest!

Campground definitely lacking some maintenance. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned once during our stay, we arrived on a Sunday. I’d have thought they’d clean it at least after the busy weekend. Husband said the men’s was even worse. Our campsite was fine, though it was hard to determine where the tent area was. The areas with most potential was 2 feet away from the fire pit or covered by posts by road. We went for the area by fire pit. We just kept a close eye on things and it was ok. Some female elk wandered through our loop one evening, amazing. Plan on staying within the park your entire stay to avoid waiting in long line to get in. Very peaceful and quiet. Firewood was available for sale in loop b. No official checking process. Bring handsoap and extra tp. No soap in bathrooms and bathrooms kept running out of tp. Visitor center was informative, hike to the hall of mosses was perfect for our little one.

Enjoyed the riverside site (66C) which had steep access to the river. Not sure that all the riverside sites have their own access...
