Campground is well kept and in a beautiful location. However if you plan on leaving Hoh to visit other places (such as the Ocean), keep in mind that during busy days you will spend a lot of time in queue entering the park. We spent 30 minutes one day, and 1 hour another day on July 4th weekend when were getting back around 5pm. Plan accordingly.

Clean bathrooms, nice variety of sites that were surprisingly sunny! Enjoyed the easy access to the river, and to the trails out of the visitor center.

I did not like this spot at all. First of all I'll start with it down poured really bad and it made this camping spot horrible. I get that we were in a rainforest and personally I don't mind camping in rain. But this camping spot had no good spots for pitching up a tent when it's wet. The area literally felt flooded. The only areas to pitch a tent was in mud, or a soft wet grassy area with lots of wet leaves that would sink an inch or two when you stepped in it. I really looked hard for a gravel bar for my equipment and pitch up my tent so it wouldn't get muddy.
Additionally, this spot has absolutely no privacy or enough trees. It's completely open to the elements and people driving or walking by. The trees are just far enough apart that I couldn't setup a tarp to keep the my group dry or setup any camping hammocks to stay out of the mud. With our tarp we had 100ft of rope but even with that we thought it would be hard to setup because of the distance between trees.
I did walk the rest of the loop B and the other spots past 45 looked a lot better for camping. There was actual tree coverage and most looked like they had a decent spot to pitch a tent that wasn't in mud. I literally think his is one of the worst spots for loop B when it's raining. Which I'll reiterate again expect rain cause you're in a rainforest...
