Because of a full day visitor parking lot everyone in line (including campers with reservations) had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get in and this was in June. Cannot imagine what the rest of summer will be like. They need to do some logistics planning and find a way to pull campers out of the line. We will not go back this summer.

Great location, beautiful area, found with ease (even late at night) just should have prepared better for cold weather. We prepped for around 45-50 lows at nights....it was around 30...so be prepared!!!!

Really enjoyed our experience at the Hoh Rainforest campground. I love the Hoh area and we did all the hikes, which are close by.
We arrived in the afternoon and pulled into our space at A 5. We were tent camping, I can highly recommend it for tents, it's flat and has room for two tents. Being a Rainforest, it rained every evening but the days were dry. We set up a canopy over the picnic table for a dry area to eat. I was glad we brought the canopy, one knock against that spot is there is only one large tree so trying to hang a tarp would be tricky. The only other accessible tree is on the back side of the next camping spot on the other side of the parking space. Fire pit was nice and the picnic tables are solid.
I was a little worried about the proximity of the bathrooms, but it was actually perfect. We were far enough away that we couldn't smell it and wasn't bothered by any foot traffic and you're close enough that you don't have to walk very far if you need to go. Especially nice with the rain!
Bathrooms were mostly clean, but bring your own hand soap.
Area was beautiful and mostly quiet, we had a group come in late the last night we were there that were loud talkers and stayes up late. Not rowdy, but their talking level was more suited for a busy restaurant than a beautiful Rainforest. But that's not a knock on the park itself.
The Rangers at the visitor center and the ones that walked the campground were very friendly and helpful.
All in all, we can't wait to go back, we loved it!
