Came in late and the herd of Roosevelt Elk were crossing the road. Excellent rangers at the visitor center. Lots of space for large tent and parking our van. Liked the ferns and unusual plants.

You can't beat the location of this campground--absolutely beautiful and an oasis from the long lines to get in and out of the park. Made connections and the facilities were very clean and maintained.

Excellent leveled back-in site, easy in easy out, vegetation does NOT shield from neighbors, 3 to 4hr window of mid day sun, then afternoon shade behind tall tree
