Great little campground, if you're lucky enough to get in! Check in does take 1-2 hours as its a popular location for both camping and day visits, and it's just one ranger at the kiosk.
The visitor center is small and easily overrun; be patient, take your time, and consider visiting early/late in the day.
Bring copious bug spray and cover up if you're hiking Hall of Mosses - it's a mosquito haven!

Disappointing. Not worth the drive there, and the loop we were in was very open and sunny. Not what you would expect from the HOH rainforest area.

The campground was clean. Signage was good. Only one potable water spigot (that I could locate) in a large loop of campsites; too far for me to carry a bucket full of water. NOTE: Get to the National Park Hoh entrance early. When I arrived at 9:15 AM, a sign on the road said it would be a one hour wait. It was about 1.5 hours. Not many people leaving the park at that time to make room for arrivals. When I got to the entrance station, I didn’t have to wait for a car to come out, as I had a campground registration. I had to wait in the same car line, though, as people who were not staying in the Hoh Rainforest.
