Campsites were large and felt more private. Campground was very close to visitor’s center and most all hiking trails. Campground itself is not as beautiful as many others in Olympic National Parks, but the facilities were better than many others. Depending on how many days you stay, try not to leave the park during peak hours as the traffic to get into the Hoh is a nightmare and can last up to two hours.

Campsite was close to trail the hoh river. I could hear river at night while sleeping. The site itself was not one of the prettiest sites as far lush landscapes and trees. There was a nice tree next to my car. But the site was in sun most of day with no shade. Bathrooms were not too far. I also walked to hiking trails and visitor from site. Hoh was very busy. I left my site at 730 am to walk to trails and the parking lot was already packed. A very very busy park.

Great little campground, if you're lucky enough to get in! Check in does take 1-2 hours as its a popular location for both camping and day visits, and it's just one ranger at the kiosk.
The visitor center is small and easily overrun; be patient, take your time, and consider visiting early/late in the day.
Bring copious bug spray and cover up if you're hiking Hall of Mosses - it's a mosquito haven!
