What Guests Are Saying
Mora Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites nestled in a lush coastal forest, offering privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Its proximity to Rialto Beach and various hiking trails enhances the camping experience, making it an ideal base for exploring Olympic National Park. While some facilities, particularly bathrooms, could use more attention, and there are no showers available, the overall charm and natural beauty of the campground make it a favorite for many campers.

This was one of the best campsites we’ve ever been to! It was exceptionally maintained, the bathrooms were spotless, and the camp areas were beautiful. We’re very grateful for the experience we had here and are excited to come back!!

Wet and wild day in Mora. Good hiking nearby and the park was well tended to.

Mora Campground is a beautiful camping spot nestled in the Rain Forest of Olympic National Park. It's a 6 min drive down the road from Rialto Beach and a 20 min drive from Kalaloch Beach areas. I was lucky enough to book 2 different sites (one for Friday and one for Saturday) for my very last minute trip to Olympic National Park. The camp sites were in the same loop, so I just moved my car from one site to the next with no issue. The grounds contain pumps for potable water and non potable water, as well as bathrooms with flush toilets (which was pleasantly surprising to me). Family friendly campground with playful kids running around. Camp sites are right next to each other but people keep to themselves. Camp sites come with a picnic table, fire pit, and a place to park your car. I would come back again.

Very close to Rialto Beach! Only down side is, there was stated that there was a walking patch to the beach, however it was just walking along the road which worked in our case since it was not busy. Camp ground was quite and had everything we needed.

Mora is a beautiful, quiet campground. It is beautiful to be in the private, moss covered campsites, and be so near the beach. The restrooms were very clean and updated. Truly a gem of a campground.

It's a beautiful campground with large sites tucked in among huge trees. It's convenient - there is easy access to Rialto Beach, and you can drive to some other popular places, such as Hoh Rainforest, Sol Duc, and Kalaloch Beach, in about an hour. But there seems to be no enforcement of quiet hours, group size, or anything else. We had a one large group partying next to us till 1 a.m. and another right across the street playing loud music. I talked to the camp host, but they didn't seem to do anything. The park ranger is off duty at night. It always amazes me that people go to all the trouble and expense of making reservations, getting camping equipment, and going out into nature just to sit and drink. The other negative thing is that there are too few bathroom facilities for the size of the campground. A few porta-potties located around the campground would be very helpful. All that being said, I would still recommend it if you want to camp in Olympic.
