The camp hosts were very friendly, helpful, and informative. The patrol person at the boat launch however needs to work on their people skills, a rather unprofessional attitude.

This is a fantastic campground, with a lot to do, great spots with privacy, and beautiful views. The garbage was overflowing and water spigots did not work while we were there, but we came prepared with our own water, and given the remoteness, I was surprised it’s not a pack in pack out for garbage anyway. Highly recommend. We hope to be back!

Nice campground, good space between sites. The only complaint, which isn’t a campground management issue, would be good access to lake for those who like to carry their kayaks to the water.

Water in Bumping Lake was the perfect temperature for swimming. We loved all the little islands and coves - very pretty lake. Site 47 rates high for convenience, but low for privacy. It is directly next to the dumpsters and water spigot for the whole lower campground loop and right across the path from one of the restrooms. As a result, it's very convenient but also noisy with people arriving all the time to dump trash and fill water containers. Essentially no privacy, though there is a nice spot back into the trees a bit for pitching the tent.

Camp hosts were really nice and accommodating. Campground was quiet and peaceful, and the weather was fantastic.
We go there every year. One of our favorite campgrounds. We just love it up there.

water accessibility was good. campsite was good. would have been nice to have access to running water, but with the lake nearby and the ability to boil it worked out. The person working directing traffic between the camping area and day use could have used more knowledge about the camping areas. This person was also less than pleasant to interact with, but considering they probably were in the heat all day and had a long day of "helping" people it's reasonable to expect they were tuckered out and a little grumpy from all that hospitality.
