Nice campsite along the river. At this time of the year is was very lightly used so it was easy to walk a course thru all three loops, plus around to the boat launch. Easy access into town, and ready access to the highway to head east or west.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kettle Falls Campground. The boat Launch was close and bathrooms were close also. Having the view for Breakfast and lunch and dinner was amazing.

First the bad; The fish hatchery just up the river was an incredibly loud & unexpected awakening. The RV'er with their loud generator dulled the sounds of nature. The Good; The night vibes were cool, nice firepit for a small fire for smores. Wonderfully landscaped, restrooms & dumpsters easily accessible. We loved the small walking trail with the bridge, we were able to get some great photo's there. Overall it was a decent campground, we'd definatley return. Not a bad drive from Spokane, Wa. For a small weekend get-a-way.

Park maintenance left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, there was a downed tree in our campsite, which was understandable after a storm. However, the drive pad had not been cleared, so we had to drive over branches and even get out of our vehicle to remove some of them because we were concerned about puncturing a tire. The campsite itself had not even been raked, making it difficult to enjoy the picnic table area.
At a campsite across from ours, there was a tree branch at least 20 feet long hanging straight down where a motorhome was parked. We reported it to the ranger on duty because we were concerned it could fall and cause damage or injury. The ranger told us that maintenance had been notified more than five days earlier, but nothing had been done.
The water faucet near our campsite was missing its handle, so we had to use pliers to turn the water on and off. We ended up lending our pliers to several other campers who had the same problem.
The sewer dump station also had a serious maintenance issue. The water faucet would turn past the normal shutoff point and could not be properly closed. As a result, we were sprayed with water contaminated by raw sewage from the spill area.
The trails are nice and the kids play area was well maintained.

We stayed in site #8 in the first loop. We have a 25 ft travel trailer and getting it placed on the pull through was super challenging because it is too much of a bend aka too short to support both the truck and trailer. The sites have no separation from your neighbors and this was not an ideal scenario to say the least because of no privacy at all. Don’t park on the grass, not even one tire or you could get a ticket from the park ranger. We got a warning ticket our last night there. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the trail and wading in the lake. The campground had no host, which seemed odd. The bathrooms could be cleaned more frequently and providing handwashing soap would be nice thing.

We enjoyed our time, we had 5 sites, with family some of them had fallen trees in them and needed to have limbs and logs removed , this should be cleaned up first off can cause a problem and danger.

The campground is 87 miles north of Spokane, Washington. Take U.S. Highway 395 north to the town of Kettle Falls, turn south on Boise Road at Barney's Bridge and travel three miles to the campground.

Arrival & departure

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
