This campsite was clean, quiet enough for being so full, and more private than I was expecting given how small it is. The site was large enough that we weren’t on top of our neighbors and we felt comfortable and safe as two young women. The bathrooms were unfortunately right down the hill past one other campsite but with no trail we didn’t want to just cut through their site. This meant walking quite a distance to get around the loop, but the restrooms were large and clean. If you’re headed to paradise on your trip, this is the perfect place to stay. And however early you think you should get to paradise in the morning, leave earlier. It was the most overflowed parking situation we experienced on our trip that august to more than ten national parks.

Happy there wasn’t a burn ban. The staff there is always so friendly.

The system for choosing a site worked well for us--to drive around and choose 3 and return to the office. We got our first choice. It was lovely and the site was very flat for our van.

A pretty nice campground with lots of options for site size. For sleeping in a vehicle or camper, the flattest sites were a bit more limited, but still a good amount to choose from. The bathrooms would be my biggest complaint, they had TP but thats it. No paper towels or hand dryers and no soap. A lovely setting walking distance from trails and a quick drive to lots of other things in the park.

The rangers at the campground office were great! Helpful and actually there to answer questions. They pointed us in the right direction for hiking and gave us a map with helpful information, and not just the park brochure. They were the ones that really made the experience smooth.
