It was pretty cool. Wish I could have seen the bats but i didn't want to disturb them while they slumbered.
Wish people would follow the rules but you can't that. Some people never learn.

Wonderful campground and facilities. We appreciated the different programs both at the visitors center at paradise and the junior ranger program in the camp ground.

Very well maintained campground. Had a great time! My tent was bigger than I thought. Will be more careful picking a site in the future.

Mt. Rainier is an incredible park and definitely worth a visit! Cougar Rock is a gorgeous campground. We absolutely loved our HUGE site (D20) and wish we could have stayed longer. Hikes through the boulder field up the Nisqually River and through the woods to both Carter and Madhatter Falls were just across the street from the campsite. They were amazing offering stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the river. We'll definitely be back!!

What a beautiful gem! We loved the tall trees, deep shade, and felt like we weren’t too crammed in. Bathrooms had flush toilets and running water though byo soap. Loved this spot!

Great campground, great campsite. Far away enough from entrance of campsite to not hear street noise. Close to amphitheater. Not too long of a walk to the closest bathrooms.

This is a beautiful campground located very close to Paradise. Just an FYI, the campsites are located very close to others. If you want or need a completely silent camping experience, this is not the campground for you. Our camp neighbors complained about the noise of our kids and appeared to still be upset even we were talking in whispers. I’m guessing they didn’t read the reviews of the sites being close to one another.

The campsite had everything that it said in the description. It was easy to find my location. We were technically the farthest campsite from the bathroom because we were right in between two bathroom locations, but they were not that far away at all, like a two minute walk. For everyone that was curious about the bathrooms like I was: there were two toilets, two sinks with only cold water, and two electrical outlets that we used to charge our phones. It was pretty easy to get ready there in the morning. I totally want to come and camp here again someday when I’m on the West Coast again.
