Camping Facilities were clean. We chose campsite A-10. Fairly level and easily held our 8ftx9ft tent.
Park Rangers were awesome! Very helpful and informative!
Very close drive to Paradise Visitors Center (20 minutes)
Just across the road from Cougar Rock Campground is the Wonderland Trail. Incredible mountain view and walk along the Nisqually and Paradise Rivers on the easy to moderate hike. You can hike up 1.1 mi to the Carter and Madcap Falls. Hike an additional 1.5 mi past Carter Falls to see Narada Falls. (or you can access trailheads via your vehicle on drive to Paradise Visitors Center, but the trailhead parking areas can be crowded in the afternoons) Recommend doing Reflection Lake early morning as the Sun is behind you and the wind is usually calm that time of day for best pictures. Tons of hikes originate from Paradise Visitors Center.
