What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch is praised for its stunning natural beauty, proximity to the beach, and great accommodations, making it a favorite destination for many campers. Visitors enjoy the tidepools, beautiful sunsets, and clean facilities, with some noting the helpfulness of the rangers. However, concerns include the need for better maintenance of the campground, issues with broken facilities, and a complicated reservation process. Despite these drawbacks, many campers express a strong desire to return.

The beach was clean and gorgeous. Mostly cloudy during our stay, but the marine layer burned off one day to give us a clear sky for sunset and at night for stargazing at the beach. the Tree of Life is by the campsite, if not RIGHT below the main day use parking lot.

We stayed at site 42 in Kalaloch Campground and it was absolutely perfect for tent camping. The site felt incredibly secluded, giving the sense of camping deep in nature, even though the campground is fairly large. It was quiet, peaceful, and spacious, making it one of our favorite spots of the trip.
It’s just a short walk to the beach, where you can catch stunning sunsets, and Kalaloch Lodge is nearby with an excellent restaurant if you’re looking to enjoy a nice meal without cooking. This location is also ideal for exploring the southwest side of Olympic National Park, including Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rainforest.
Highly recommend Kalaloch campground if you're looking for solitude, beauty, and easy access to all the highlights of the coast.

Loved this site and campground. Bathrooms were super clean. The view from site 25 was absolutely amazing. This site abuts the campsite behind it without much privacy, which were not be fun if you had a bad group. Fortunately, everyone was respectable here.

Small sites in close proximity to both the road and the beach. Campground was very lush and we loved that we could hike the beaches directly from our campground. No showers, but the restrooms were clean. Working dump station was available too.

One of the best campsites in the entire campground. Very private. The view is small but that's not a bad thing as it does get windy. Small site though, one 3 person tent is fine but 2 tents or a bigger tent will be a squeeze. No AT&T cell signal at all, but if you hop over to the loop E/F bathroom it's barely usable.

This campsite was amazing! Plenty of space for our family, and it was incredible being so close to the beach, while also being among the trees! We can't wait to come back.

The parking pad at A 19 and those close by was angled such that a trailer was impossible to back into without driving into the grass/ bushes. In general, very small site only accommodating one tent. Loop A bathrooms were closed and water was located at the restrooms only. However, gorgeous views of the ocean with a pathway to the beach 200 feet away. Gorgeous!
