Indian Creek (WA)

Loved the camp site (#1), was very large and good set up for tents and camper/trailer , the camp host we saw around and attempted to talk to but does not seem to like to be bothered. The campgrounds have a private camp that connects together through a little trail and its a great swimming day use are worth the $ for access to day use and a little store up top of day use area for ice and wood or some goodies!
We all enjoyed out time there and hope to be back next year.

Wonderful place to camp! I camped with my brother during Aug. 31st - Sept. 3rd 2020. The camp host Dan, was very nice and helpful. Telling us about the PCT trail down the road, places to go fishing, and a bit about the wild life around the area and the animals you might see. My brother and I saw a heard of cows, heard of elk, marmots, chipmunks, a black bear and plenty of beautiful birds. We brought our canoe as well and was able to put it in the water. Campfires were not aloud at this time. But we brought a small portable cooking stove/propane tank and had no worries about cooking food. I will definitely be back.

Been going here for 13 years!! It is phenomenal!! Be sure to float the river that feeds into Rimrock Lake! It’s Epic, but be careful and float with others! Have fun!

This particular site, I reserved by accident on this date. I tried to move to the next date but there was none available. Any change would cost me $10. Initially, the weekend was showing all FF (first come first serve) so I couldn't reserve through the weekend. Later in the week it started showing as all reserved. Nobody was available to explain to me why and how it happened. I probably won't reserve this campground again just for the bad experience we had trying to accommodate my group.

Best camp host ever. I've been camping 50 years.

Clean, easy, camp host was very nice and orderly. Sites are close to the water, but in the shade. The only negative was the consistent and very close fly-by's of fighter jets in the morning of our final day which really scared our baby.

Our experience at India Creek Campground was a 10/10. The campground is nice and clean, can tell the camp host works hard to keep this place nice and tidy. The bathroom are clean, TP was always available and for being an outhouse type bathroom, the camp host works really had to keep them in the best possible shape. This campground is next to a RV park, so if you not a big fan of outhouse type bathroom, you can always take a 1 min walk and use the RV bathroom facilities with working toilets. My family and I had a great time, we are a tenting family so the spots were large enough were you can fit up 4 big tents and still have room. I did notice the spots for trailers were very spacious as well and well kept. Next year I’m definitely on coming this campground again.

Great campground!!! You can’t go wrong staying in Indian creek. Manager was also awesome. I highly recommend to everyone.

Well, on the website for Indian Creek, they say there are many first come first serve sites. When I showed up a day early potentially looking for a site, every site was marked "Reserved". as were all sites at the campgrounds downstream ,this is very confusing to people, when they are stated they are open and they are actually on reserve. What in the world is Wenatchee doing.. and please do not privitize campgrounds. It is a very bad think to do, these are OUR Federal campgrounds and should be run by Federal employees. Please get your act together Wenatchee.. ruined my day.
