Camp host was the best we've ever experienced - sites were clean, raked and even the fire pits were cleaned out. The campground was just ok though - there wasn't good access to the lake as the water was still very high in mid-June. We were in sites 33 & 34, which are back-to-back with three other sites, so there was really no privacy.

We love camping at Indian Creek. The campground is clean and for the most part is quiet. There are the occasional noise makers and sometimes there are too many people in one campsite. The last time we were there, we had to wait for our site to open because someone did not check out at the right time. Check out is 12:00 and they were still in the site at 2:00. The camp host is very nice and is always busy cleaning or helping people. Very friendly and accomadating.
There are many trails to walk and beautiful streams and creeks. The lake is busy most of the time with kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, etc.

We reserved spot 007 for a Wednesday night thru Friday checkout (2nights) (mid July). When we got there we noticed there was not a good flat place for a tent. There were several drainage paths from when it had rained. We weren't really feeling the spot. We drove around and noticed there were 'reserved' signs on all the spaces we would have liked.
We went and talked with the camp host, Dan, about maybe changing spots and he said they were filled but he would come help us find a spot on spot 007. After a few moments he asked when we would be leaving and then that is when it all clicked. They were full from Friday - Sunday for the weekend so they couldn't accommodate a new spot for us, but, once he knew we were leaving by Friday he found a new spot for us in 024.
The space could have fit 3-4 tents, fit our car fine, had plenty of room to move around for our kids to throw a football, picnic bench was a little high but that's being nitpicky, short walk to the bathrooms, right next to the water, across from the street to paths to the lake,
Noise - quiet, no rowdy people (Dan said he goes around often to make sure they are respectful as camping is an escape for most people)
Weather - wonderful, around 70's and below 60's at night
Shade - Plenty
Lake - Cold (as expected). Easy marked paths to lake
Hiking - Plenty of options around
Cost - Great! worth the $20 a night
Overall we had a great time and definitely will go back!

It's a beautiful spot, but keep in mind later in the summer the reservoir is drawn down to the point there is no access to the water. Best time to go probably would be May/June. Also, be prepared with mouse traps/deterrents. We had a large group there in September and my RV along with almost everyone else there had mice getting inside every night. I've camped all my life and never experienced this anywhere else. It was my first time at Indian Creek, but others in our group have been many times and said the mouse thing has always been an issue.

Great wooded sites with the lake within short walking distance.

I love how large and clean the sites are at this campground! The camp hosts also seem friendly and organized. The location is right off a busy highway though, so if you are looking for absolute quiet with nature and your fellow campers, you may wish to go elsewhere.
