Sawmill Flat Campground is praised for its clean facilities, spacious and private campsites, and beautiful river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. Campers appreciate the quiet ambiance, especially at night, and the friendly camp host. Some minor drawbacks include proximity to the highway and occasional issues with ants or odor from the vault toilets, but overall, it offers a pleasant camping experience.

Great campground, the sites were very clean and spacious. Great listening to the river which was another plus. The bathrooms were also clean which makes the experience nice. The only complaint we had was we had neighbors that had barking dogs which they did not control or respect people camping close by.

We were lucky and the weather was great. Kids could play in the creek and ride bikes. Great for large families.

Nice large campsites provide for privacy. Pit toilets were clean. Our site on the river (#8) was perfect - it's just a babbling brook at that point so it's quite instead of a loud tumbling river.

Sawmill Flat is a great, wooded campground by the Naches river. The campsites are generally pretty large, so you don't feel too crowded in with your neighbors. There is one site that is officially designated for disabled campers, but several of the others are also suitable for folks in wheelchairs. The proximity to the highway can be an annoyance for some of the sites.

Great site on the river, large enough for multiple tents and spread out from the others.

I drove 4 hours to get there only to find my campsite infested with red-headed ants. I was unable to stay there. Luckily I found another campsite about 8 mi up the road however it cost me another $60 to stay there. I am still currently waiting to see if I'm going to get a refund for my reservation at Sawmill Flats
