What Guests Are Saying

Willows Campground is a lovely site with plenty of trees and clean facilities, including a well-maintained pit toilet. While some sites are small and close to each other, others, like site #6, offer beautiful river views. There is some freeway noise, but it is less noticeable near the river, and bug activity is minimal during mid-June.

Had reserved large site for our 31 foot trailer and pickup truck for memorial day weekend. Another camper decided to 'upgrade' their tent spot by swapping reservation slips on the site poles, moving into and setting up camp in our spot. My 31 foot trailer didn't fit in her 10x10 tent spot. Took an hour to locate the camp host (down the road), as the onsite info sign included a cell phone to a (very nice) camp host from the 2020 season who now lives in Colorado. Eventually, we were able to negotiate our way into a large enough site at nearby Hous Creek, and were satisfied with the 'upgrade,' but would have preferred that reservations were respected and we could have pulled in and started our vacation without all the commotion or needing to confront another camper.

It was colder than anticipated but still had an amazing time! Can't wait to come back at some point to camp with a larger group! The doggos loved it!!!!! Nice that Naches is only a 20min drive away! We didn't bring any wood and it was easy to find there for a campfire to keep us warm! :)

The campground was beautiful but when we got there the camp host had given our camp site away and told us our reservation didn't exist and we weren't on his list. We had our reservation number and info but he said we weren't on his list. It was devastating and we had to leave and find somewhere else :(

It was a cute little campsite by the river. The bathrooms aren’t flush, and can get a little gnarly but otherwise it was great!

Midweek, this is a sweet little campground right on the Tieton River. We had the place mostly to ourselves. There is noise from the highway, but it’s pretty quiet at night and if you’re lucky enough to score a site on the river, that helps drown the noise. Would not want to camp here on the weekend as it looks very heavily (ab)used.

The river next to the campground is beautiful, the campsites themselves are quite small and close together, but beautiful, with some decent trees in each of them. The bathroom was dirty, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

The fire ring was shaped and situated in an odd position, making it hard to manage the fire and not really accessible to sit by/warm up to. There seemed to be a few campsites with partiers who were loud and obnoxious and playing loud music and shining lights all over the place well into the early morning hours; I realize this isn't the fault of the campground. A gentleman came through to clean the bathrooms and I let him know; he stated we were not the only ones to voice our concerns over the group, and he stopped by the site to let them know. That night was quieter and I was thankful for him. There is one water pump for the campground and it's a bit of a pain to get water out of. The spots along the river look nice and if we go here again we'd like one of those. Overall it was a fine experience.

this was a very cool, small campground. Biggest complaint was how terrible the bathrooms were. extremely dirty, and poorly kept.
